Each spin of the wheel is new and usually random event. Every spin is a fight against the casino's advantages. Winning consistently is not impossible.

Roulette: you need discipline and money

This blog explains in plain language just how "easy" it is to win or "lose" at roulette. Winning occasionally is simple. I want to find out why people lose and why I too had lost. I then had to learn from that base - Simply winning every time is impossible. However the aim is ti fight against the casino and win consistently.

Ok, in this entry, is about just one thing: winning a roulette. It is not about playing roulette. Countless thousands play roulette every day - most as if they were happy to lose - reckless to a fault.

Remember you sure will win sometimes. But you simply forget about the losses. The law of averages is against you. Mathematics proves it. Especially at roulette with that zero.

So, what are the most important things that you have to have it in order to win consistently?

Something you would understanding coming from the military camp!! DISCIPLINE (Similar approach about Getting organized at work & Take control of your day). Strict, strict discipline. That is vital. Second, adequate funds. Have you ever seen casinos run out of money? OK, it has happened once or twice. But basically, they do not. Why not? You may asked. Because they play a long game. They know the small odds in their favour will stack up to pay off the winners. But it goes much further than that. They know most players will lose every cent they brought - and more on top that they have taken from the ATM machine. It is not the odds that make casinos rich; it is the way people (us) play.

Most of the players risking their money with no understanding of the game. Most players have too little money for the risks they take. They run out of cash. They play like rabbits caught in headlights. If you asked them what they knew about "Money Management", where numbers are on the wheel, they would be lost of words. If they bet on 16, adn 17 comes up, they regard it a near miss. But 16 and 17 are nowhere near each other on the wheel!!. It is men against boys. It is like stealing a baby's toy! Ask anyone who works in a casino.
